How do you use charcoal pucks? Lighting a charcoal disc is very straight forward. Take a disc by the thumb and forefinger holding the depression side up. With a flame from a match, lighter or candle apply to the opposite end being held. Once the charcoal begins to heat it will start to sparkle. The charcoal pucks are greats for burning loose herbs as insense or resins.
