Pendant - Obsidian - Sterling Silver

Black obsidian has been used for centuries. It has always been respected as a powerful tool. It is commonly used for scrying mirrors, and is recognized as the arrows and blades made by indigenous tribes. Obsidian is formed by volcanic lava cooling off quickly. Considering it comes from the depths of the earth, obsidian is considered to be a deeply grounding stone, containing a lot of force.

This pendant is a softly rounded upside-down teardrop, set in sterling silver. The silver is designed with three small beading points at the bottom, a nice splay on top, and scrolls within the bale.

Measures approximately 53mm from top of bale to bottom, is around 30mm at it's widest, and has a depth of 5mm.
