Danu Statue - 9"

Danu (sometimes referred to as Dana, Ana, Anu, Anann) is one of the oldest deities in Celtic mythology, and is cherished deeply as the Mother Goddess and Protectress. Her name means 'wisdom' or 'teacher.' She has been associated with everything from abundance, agriculture, the wind, rivers, amber, crowns, earth, fish, gold, holy stones, horses, the moon and seagulls.

This incredibly detailed polyresin statue features her with a snake and flowers at her feet, at her side, the tree of life on her robe with the triple moon symbol, a shower of stars and a dragonfly, plus the image of a celtic triskel on the dish that she holds.

Measures approximately 9" x 5" x 5" and is made of high quality polyresin and finished in a bronze patina.
